    Recommended Uses
Tatami Tiles are designed to provide a safe and shock absorbing training surface for a variety of mixed martials arts. Some ways these tiles have been used before include: As Grappling Mats, As Judo Mats, As MMA Mats, As Jiu Jitsu Mats, As Karate Mats, As Taekwondo Mats, Goza Mats, Aikido Mats, and as General Dojo Flooring.
Tatami Tiles offer an extra thick interlocking foam mat product designed for use in areas where shock absorption is important. Tatami floor tiles also provide a unique surface appearance that is meant to mimic Japanese tatami mats. Each Tatami Tile is made of kid approved EVA foam which is water proof, stain resistant, and easy to clean. EVA also acts as an excellent insulator against sound and temperature transmission.

    Durable closed cell EVA foam.

Each tile weighs approximately 2.0 Lbs.
    Maintenance:
    - Tatami tiles are easy to clean and maintain. These shock absorbing foam tiles are constructed of durable closed cell EVA foam which means liquids cannot penetrate the surface of the tiles.
    - If the tatami tiles do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, all that is necessary to clean them is to do a quick wipe of the foam floor surface with a damp cloth and your Tatami Mats will look like new.
    Installation Info:
    - First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
    - Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls. Add center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.
    - When coming up to an opposite wall, make sure you cut the tiles to fit the area leaving a gap that’s roughly the thickness of the tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.
