Can-Am Spyder SE5 Semi-Automatic Transmission Solenoid Repair Kit
Certain 2008-2016 Can-Am Spyder models utilize a semi-automatic transmission (SE5).
The solenoids which regulate pressure fluid are generally robustly designed. However, you may encounter harsh, delayed, abrupt or even no shifts. This can lead to shift solenoid codes. In some cases, this is due to uneven/incorrect fluid pressure due to worn solenoid seals which can degrade over time.
This o-ring seal kit replaces all solenoid seals. Designed with 3M Viton, the only material which can last against heat and the harsh environment of engine oil. This is not the same as the nitrile material used by the OE, which is prone to failure.
This is an alternative to purchase a new solenoid set from the dealer.
Kit contains:
1x Master o-ring set (for all 4 solenoids)
2x Silicone lubricant
1x Install tip sheet
