YOU ARE BIDDING ON A  REMANUFACTURED complete running bolt on  MERCURY V6 OPTIMAX 200/225/250 hp exchange. This is one of our most popular rebuilding options and now we are selling it on Ebay.
HOW DOES IT WORK ??
Just unplug ignition, remove shift cables, remove
fuel
& oil line Then simply remove 10 powerhead bolts and pull your POWERHEAD complete. Leave all the ignition and fuel system components on the motor. Do not take any parts off the powerhead. This way when engine comes back to you, all you do is bolt it back on. HOW TO SHIP > after you get engine off simply secure the powerhead to a shipping pallet with ratchet straps. If you do not feel comfortable securing to pallet we can supply and ship you a container to put the motor in. Call our Toll Free number and we will email or fax you shipping invoice. Then arrange a truck with lift gate to come pick up your motor, THAT IS IT !!  Your powerhead will be "pre run"  on our IDC outboard Dyno so when its returned your ready to bolt back on your midsection. We will include the base gasket and computer is set to break-in, along with warranty information.
If you are within driving distance to our Western PA location we can do this entire job "WHILE YOU WAIT" in by 9 out by 5 SAME DAY. Done and boating all in one day !!

At Outboard Rebuild when we use the word ReMANUFACTURED you can be 100% sure that all cylinders have been machined by only the best machines that are available. Rotler F3 boring center that is designed to do blind hole engines,( outboards) Diamond computer assisted hone, all critical surfaces machined back to uniform for proper gasket sealing. Torque plate honing,  We install NEW parts, pistons, Piston rings, wrist pin's, Oil gear, thermostats, bearings, crank seals, the list goes on and on.. We feel you should get what you pay for " A powerhead that last YEARS not months or even weeks ..
The Industry (outboard remanufacturing) standard for rebuilt motors is ONLY 100 hours per outboard repair, and a loss of up to 20% power loss . Here is the problem:  piston and ring seating is dependent directly on cylinder wall finish. To accomplish the proper finish, the method used is referred to as "plateau finish". This process is how today's automobile motors go over 100,000 instead of maybe 50,000 miles like they used to. To obtain this finish in a blind hole motor (outboards) you can't use automotive machining methods. Special machines using diamond precision computer controlled hones are needed. These machines with their support equipment are a must on modern outboards, gone are the days that you can do this correctly at a dealer or in a garage. With this in mind we attempt to educate.
For the uneducated customer who looks only for low price also gets a new friend.  Who? The dealer or person who is going to rebuild your engine again, to the industry standard, AGAIN...

I bought a 1999 90 hp Rebuilt Johnson from you;s, 1-1/2 years later this motor runs like a brand new one. Power-more than a new motor, starts every time and I fish in very cold weather and heat, never shuts off once its running.
Right after I bought this motor it developed a miss, one call to these folks and I returned to be treated very nicely and the motor was fixed by replacing a part, NO CHARGE!

Thanks Ooutboard Rebuilder for the rebuild on my 2002 175 Johnson outboard this thing is faster then ever. We got to there shop at 9am for a complete rebuild ( wile you wait ) Dan had our powerhead off in 30min , 5 hrs later i was heading home to Maryland with a complete rebuild. I am 100% happy with the 2007 Mercury ProXS 250 powerhead rebuild mike and his guys did for me, It has only been 11 months but if power is any sign to how long this rebuild will last im good to go.. I have picked up 300rpm and close to 3 mph from before the motor broke.
On a side note:
I called mike on a Monday and he got me in his shop by Wednesday the same week and had me back up and running for no extra cost !! So i thought the least I could do was post this thank you to him and his guys..
